Summer Termly Tea Party

SupplyNet held it's SummerTermly Tea Party on 15th July at The Blue Bar, Porthtowan.

Alan Jones, Magician, Mentalist and developer of Magic for Learning provided entertainment.

The afternoon was fun filled and at times spooky as Alan amazed us with his mind reading magic!  He also showed some really useful magic tricks which can be combined with learning and ideal tricks to keep up your sleeve to gain the attention of a classroom full of children!  For further information please see Alan's website AlanJonesMagic.com or email him alan@aljones.net.

Termly Tea Party / Electronic Whiteboard Training

SupplyNet held its second Termly Tea Party on 21st January in the ICT Suite at Treleigh School, Redruth.  This incorporated Electronic Whiteboard training following a request from a large number of staff wishing to update their skills.

There were a good number of supply staff who attended and reported that they found the training very useful and enjoyed meeting up with other supply staff to swap ideas and get together.

A number of useful links came out of the training and have been posted under the Useful Info Section on the Home page of the website.

Thank you to all who came along and made the afternoon enjoyable, and especially to Treleigh School for providing the room and Emma for providing the training.

We look forward to meeting up with you again at at our next Termly Tea Party if not before.

SupplyNet's First Termly Tea Party at The Blue Bar, Porthtowan

It was a beautiful, sunny September afternoon at The Blue Bar in Porthtowan.  The perfect day and setting for SupplyNet’s first Termly Tea Party. Will Coleman was our guest speaker who entertained us with his tales of storytelling and then took us all on a little jaunt down to the beach where we sat on the rocks while he told us a story.  It was very picturesque, very surreal and very enjoyable (the cakes weren’t bad either!)

Thank you to all who came along, we hope you enjoyed it and are looking forward to the next Termly Tea Party on the 21st January – make a note in your diaries!
